Supporting the Ultimate Test of Endurance

Henri-Lloyd is the proud technical clothing partner of Oliver Heer Ocean Racing, supporting the Swiss sailor as he competes in the competitive IMOCA circuit. Culminating in the 2024 Vendée Globe finish on Monday 17th February 2025, Ollie secured 29th place overall and covered a course of nearly 24,000 miles under 100 days.

Established in 1989, the Vendée Globe is the greatest sailing race around the world, solo, non-stop and without assistance. It’s an incredible test of endurance and represents the pinnacle of sailing. We are proud to be a part of it.

Engineered for Multiple Conditions

In this purpose-driven partnership, Henri-Lloyd works closely with Ollie and his team to develop high performance products designed and produced with sustainability at the heart. All the onshore and on water products selected by Oliver Heer Ocean Racing are produced in line with the Henri-Lloyd’s responsible production commitment, where 100% of products are manufactured with organic, recycled or zero waste materials.

The team are kitted out in a selection of products designed to support Ollie across multiple conditions throughout the year. The MPRO collection, developed to perform at the highest level, is a versatile range allowing Ollie the ability to be agile due to its lightweight construction, but is also super durable with exceptional waterproofness and breathability. The MPRO products are complemented with the Henri-Lloyd base and mid layers providing a complete breathing system

Key Products

Key products in the layering range include the Dri Fast tee, a multiuse t-shirt that is quick drying and provides UV protection, and the MAV HL Mid Crew, an incredible stretchy and comfortable technical sweatshirt that is moisture wicking and designed to be worn anywhere, in any weather. Both are manufactured with 100% recycled polyester.

“Henri-Lloyd is the natural clothing partner choice for our Vendee Globe campaign with the technical expertise, engineering capability, and shared sustainable values to help us succeed. As sailors, winning is 90% preparation. It is vital that I have clothing that allows me to concentrate on testing my mind and body to the extreme in the harshest of environments. I am looking forward to testing its products for future development and I can't wait to see what we can achieve in our shared mission of raising awareness of important environmental issues and sustainability goals.”
